Bio: if there was ever a prospect with more pressure on him, I'd like to know who. Hansen was drafted in the first round of the 2005 draft, and quickly made his way into a Sox uniform near the end of the season. He struggled mighitly in 2006, enough to not assure him of the closer's job he all but had when he was drafted.

Projected 2007 Statistics: 4.85, 30, 8, 35

Fantasy Outlook: I see this season as another 2006 type season for Hansen. He'll be up and down from the minors, though I think he'll be a little better than last season. He was projected as the future closer of the Sox, but with Papelbon wanting it for good now, we'll probably never see him in that role. He's expendable now, and will likely never have fantasy value in a Sox uniform at least.
